  • @Motorfordtoyota There is no getting around the fact that Ford has more experience building trucks Americans want that Toyota does...That's the reason FORD outsells the Tundra almost 10 to 1. Toyota Tundra's are desirable only to ignorant demograhics like you who are still living in the 1980's and think the only good cars and trucks come from Japan. Not True! American companys build some of the finest car's on the road today...Better get used to it.

  • @volvodude101 Not now with with the 5 speed and 6 speed automatics in the Dodge trucks, can't kill these. Most yards don't get calls for them since they don't break selling them for $250.00.The 727 and 904s,will last if rebuilt right the first time and ATF+4 fluid is used only.Dextron does damage to Chrysler's transmissions.Ford, over a grand for an used transmission.Ford even made a mistake in 1980,drilled holes in the frames making them weaker.Ford would not cover it if a snow plow was installed

  • Ford trucks lose their value and my father can prove it.Ford trucks are called cheap trucks for this reason. My father is an used car dealer and sees this a lot at dealer only auctions.Chevy trucks bring the most money,Dodge is 2nd and Ford is dead last buying them dirt cheap. The 1997 to 2003 triton engines have problems blowing out spark plugs and 2004 to 2010 is worse.2004 to 2010,you pay a shop $700.00 to change plugs.Break off requiring a special tool. The plugs are $25.00 a piece, the #7989

  • yeah the best never rest been best selling truck for 34 years running!!!

  • @5litreho Yep! I have a 2011 FX4 Supercab 5.0L myself. Its an awesome truck! Its only got about 7500 miles on it right now...But I plan for it to last me many many years into the future.

  • @MercuryMorrison1 Thank You Mercury Morrison 1 !!!!! Great comment....I own a 2002 F-150 Super Crew with 200,000 miles. 5.4 Litre modular V/8, 4R70 automatic trans. This truck has never missed a beat. No fluid leaks anywhere. Engine burns 1/2 a quart of oil in 4,000 miles. This truck has not had one issue with anything!!!! I hope to get another 50k to 100k more miles out of this truck before any major issues happen. Ford trucks rule!!!!

  • @cooloffroadtrucks same here
