Skiing in Bad Gastein & Sport Gastein, Austria 2011
Have really enjoyed the skiing here in Bad Gastein even when the weather is giving us 15 degrees and sunny days.
We hoped for snow and powder for some great off-pist skiing, but there is only skiing conditions in the sloaps.

Well, it is different from alpine, and you have to balance your body differently compared to Alpine. If you are a steady skier, you shouldn't have any problems to switch, but it is for sure a complete different way of skiing, but fare from impossible. Quite fun, and I have done it now for 17 years. But actually now I am switching back to Alpine. Much easier to do powder skiing and off-pist.
