@darksakuraolr Thank You! I've been saying the same exact thing for the last 6 years. They always throw the whole tattoos are a sin thing at me and I point out that in the same book, it says not to eat shrimp. Yet, how many of them go to Long John Silvers or Pappadeauz after church and fill up on a shrimp basket?

A lot of Christians these days (Fundamentalists mostly) act like Pharisees: they believe that because they're close to God, they have a right to act superior, judge others, and invade private lives. They claim to be of Jesus, yet I know that if Jesus was here on earth, he would shut them down just as he did to the Pharisees all throughout the New Testament.

I am embarrassed by how clouded our teaching of history is. While God may have been written in by a Christian founding father, the majority of our Founding Fathers were Deists. They believed in a higher power or consciousness, but not in the Christian God or Jesus. How are we a Christian nation???
