If this wasn't John (or Paul) how would anyone know the exact words to a song that isn't released. If you listen to "Off The Beatles Track" by Apple Jam the words are the same...

I'm VERY good a telling this voice from that voice....this is John, but obviously very "wanky", probably singing the song the first time into a wanky old recorder. If Paul wrote it, then Paul probably presented it to Peter Asher later, since he lived with Peter upstairs at Jane's (family) home in London, while the other Beatles shared a house elsewhere. When Paul or John wrote a song, they presented it to the other for approval and tweaks, then they "stamped" it "complete" as a team.

john was a human, of course he has sound out of tune sometime in his life!! i'm not sure if this is him or not (it doesn't seem to be john between 1:30-1:36) but i just wanted to clarify that point

@dachille1 And the guy is obviously struggling...listen to the first few seconds. It's all one big breath so that he can try to sing in the trademark "nasally" way. This is quite an annoying "person".
