Geocaching with iPhone 3G S

This is the first day I've tried to use my new iphone for geocaching. I used Groundspeak's "Geocaching" app, and it worked pretty well for me. Unfortunately I only found 1 out of the 4 caches I looked for that day, but I don't think it was the fault of the device, rather that I wasn't comfortable lurking around the backs of stores looking for hidden treasure.

I've had this app for months on my iP 4, but I still haven't tried it LOL

Seems like it would be easier to use then my Magellan Xplorist GC, but I doubt it is as accurate. I'll have to compare the two some time.

@janX9 I haven't done much geocaching at all in the last year, but they've been continuously been updating the app. Hopefully that means its just getting better and better, though I can't say so from experience.

You don't look like a very dangerous lurker, wouldn't worry about it lol. You film that with your 3gs?

yeah i filmed it with the phone. I guess i'm just always weary of security wondering why i'm wandering around behind stores when I'm looking for caches.
