@SlipknotHeadless Yes it will but not as clear because your vocal cords will obstruct the sound clarity but as for the sound it will sound the same just not as loud. :~)

Thank God I gave up smoking long time ago, because I don't want to end up speaking like an Android, with that "creeping people out device".

Wow, this is really awesome! I had no idea any of these devices had the ability to change pitch. :D
is this device good for people who have lost their voice pitch range? and is it totally external ?? plz advise :)

An Electrolarynx is for someone whose vocal chords cannot make sound, such as a laryngectomee. If you can say "aaaah" then you will probably not benefit from an electrolarynx.
The device is totally external though. It presses against the throat and transfers sound through the neck tissue and out the mouth.
