Hey Swede, are you familar with Zombie Squad? They are a prepper organization that is active in charity work and teaches seminars on disaster preparedness, they have chapters all over the country, not sure if there is one here in northern KY or not... and they dont really believe in zombies, pretending to prepare for zombie hordes is just a way to get the oblivious interested and have fun with prepping

Its true what the swede says about finding like minded people .For if somthing did happen strength in numbers is alway a better option . Each person within ur group or community will have there task there job with every body working towards the same outcome

I guess for now the internet is our best freind we must protect it and ensure we make the most of it whilst we still have it

The biggest ratfink in your neighborhood is the preacher or clergy. They will rat you out to the government in a heartbeat. All clergy are being engaged by the government because they think you will listen to the clergy no matter what. And if you belong to a militia group and there is a preacher as a member, kick his ass out!!!!!

Thanks for the good advice. When I moved into this neighborhood full of families with kids as a single male, I thought I'd let the neighbors know a bit about me so they could know I was not a threat to their kids in any way (nowdays there are so many criminals and perverts). Well what's gratitude? The more you tell the more curious and paranoid they get. Instead of being grateful that you share, they see this as a weakness and use what they know to attack you.

I don't tell my neighbors anything, if you think it's bad being a prepper in the USA you should try it here in the UK, they just think your nuts if you have more than weeks worth of food in the house and an alternative way to cook it should the power go out

@beldamrci hey my advice when it comes to weapons....buy guns with common and cheap ammo.....making it affordable to prep, and making the ammo easyier to find if SHTF...heres a few examples....ak-47=$500, 1000 rnds 7.62x39 = $240 so about 24 cents a round good deal, can find better....ak's are known for durability good choice.... pistol 9mm is probably by far the cheapest and easiest to find.and then 12Gauge for a shotgun.... whatever u do dont buy guns with hard to find ammo they will be no use

im glad u brought up this point...as of right now there are many ignorant people out there....its very hard to talk to people about this....and heres why..ignorance is bliss....and or they have never experienced a life or death situation/survial situation....so they go on with life like nothings wrong with the world and turnig a blind eye to whats clearly right in front of them

This prepping mindset seems limited to men here on you tube. I've only run across a few women. I'm new to prepping and trying to forgive myself for not waking up sooner. I also feel kind of stranded out here. I could use some advice on weapons and solar and alternative heating.
