Moog Minimoog fart around - basslines and stuff

Just mucking about on my Moog Minimoog analog mono-synth. One of the many old and newer analog synths I have lying around here

This Minimoog is one of the earlier models with the more unstable oscillator boards. Key contacts need cleaning...hence the swooping notes

sorry about the crap audio - the camera's mic doesn't capture bass very well, and the Minimoog has a ton of bass :)

Should have recorded a direct feed...

You wheels give it away as a 'late' Mini actually. What serial number do you have? The earlier Mini's had smooth wheels.

8654 . By early I guess I meant earlier than the latter boards that sound more stable. I know there was another series of boards that don't sound as good as the one in my Mini

I have to retuned this one eveyrytime I turn it on. Once tuned and warmed up it's very tight, but next day not so :)

turn on the drums! oh, thats right, you can't. My Casiotone has 16 different drum beats, including bossanova, waltz, rock 1 and 2, etc. The new models have 3 pop buttons. How many drum preset buttons does this old thing have? You're correct. NONE
