@noahsarkgolfacademy Allow me to elaborate on my last comment, I had one wee tip from an old pro. in my native Scotland that has stayed with me over the years.
Locally I've paid for lessons with pros. who were only interested in you returning for another lesson. Complicated mechanics that I doubt they understood themselves, sure they knew I was hooking the ball but WHY. first it was my grip, then I was swinging " too flat " then lack of rotation etc. etc. I still hook it !

@noahsarkgolfacademy Niall, this is from an avid golfer in his senior years playing off a nine handicap ( and I really love my golf ).
I will never give another nickel to any " teaching pro. " simply because the high majority of them are nothing short of hustlers !
That statement is based purely on past experiences, I've fought the hook especially with my driver for years. I've spent hard earned money on lessons and listened to one contradict the other and resolved nothing.

Very good tuition and so simply. The only way to improve is correct practice and these hints do help alot. It is a shame that some people have to make such stupid remarks .

@jeanmunn Gold Digest has never produced a tour player, and they never will. club pro lessons are quick fixes, not good swings.

@noahsarkgolfacademy where did you purchase the explaner from ,is it any good and how much regards t.s

Keep the videos - coming very useful; the only way to learn, in my opinion, is to have lessons together with constant practice. Those golf club members who proudly announce that they have never had a lesson can usually be relied upon to demonstrate, consistantly, how not to play golf! I wonder if gbvoul has ever been on tour, somehow I doubt it!
How about a video on the aspects of the short game please including bunker play when the sand is wet and heavy?

@gbvoul Well I'm going to throw my hat into this,,,through my years I've had good friends who were professional golfers, club pros. and playing pros.
One of my friends was the teaching pro. at our club,, he was busy all the time,,well sought after and one of the best teaching pros. in the game.
Get this ! he was a God awful player and that was a well known fact. And as far as top touring pros. some of them couldn't teach you how to lace up a pair of bloody golf shoes !!
Thanks for the nice comments. Lots more videos to come once the Scottish weather gets a bit nicer!!

gbvoul, that's a bit of a sweeping statement. Have you had a bad coaching experience? I would be keen to hear you explanation as to why there could be "nothing worse for your game than listening to a PGA club pro"?

The driver weight transfer is similar although your body positioning should be different. When hitting a driver you need some secondary spine angle, which refers to how the spine tilts off the vertical when looking from face on. When hitting driver your spine should be tilted slightly away from target. This secondary spine angle will help to create an upward angle of attack even when your weight is moving forward, which would normally create a downward attack angle.
