www.regeneratorrecords.com presents Chad Allan and the Reflections from the cd Early Roots. This video contains rare photos , slides , contracts and posters from the personal collection of Chad Allan.
Also features rare 16mm film of Chad Allan as host of Lets Go.
Personally I liked Chad Allen better than Burton. He had a fabulous voice but not the power of Burton. He really fit the times his was a ballad voice not a rocking voice like Cummings.

@KT87Mae Where have you been? This band changed their name to The Guess Who in the early sixties, added Burton Cummings to the line-up, (Chad Allan quit to return to university to get a teaching degree) and they became the greatest Canadian band of all-time! Hundreds of hits!
I don't want to be mean, but have you been in a cloistered nunnery for the past 50 years?

this band played at a dance in the gym at our high school dance in '62 or 63 in St. Boniface. I have never seen or heard of it since

Cool to see pics at the Eatons gig. We (The Shags) played there as well. I wonder where I can get Pics of the other bands that played there that week.

Don't forget about Bob Ashley, who played keyboards for the group before leaving and being replaced by Burton Cummings.

How cool is this! Very rare colour photos of the band. Very young Bachman, Kale Peterson and Chad...sadly a forgotten part of Canadian Music

Love the retro images! Thats pure music history! Music from those days was very sweet wasn't it? It is amazing how styles have evolved.

Good memorabilia. It shows that Tribute To Buddy Holly was in 1962/63. Burton Cummings mis-remembered when he said 1960. The record books are wrong about 1964.
