@UTubekookdetector No, I just dislike people who make stuff up and wont admit it even when shown evidence that they are wrong. Those who pervert science are doing everyone a huge disservice. Your stubborn refusal to even look at simple data, physcial processes, and robust scientific conclusions is indicative of someone who wont see it until they believe it.

DRK: Where did I say they were the same thing? The fact is, Antarctic ice is doing rather well and as I said before, that ozone hole varies greatly from year-to-year. You seem quite frustrated and angry.

@UTubekookdetector You do understand what sea ice concentration is don't you? It is not the same thins as sea ice extent. The paper points out that concentrations increase in some areas decrease in others. It goes on to blame down-slope winds (which are very cold) for increasing sea ice (such anomalies in these winds are often linked to the size and depth of the ozone hole).

@UTubekookdetector Did you check the results from GRACE or ICESat - a net loss of antarctic ice (growing slightly in the interior as predicted from increased precipitation while losing a lot from the edges - particularly the western peninsula.

DRK: Your "rebuttal" about Antarctic Ice amounts to an indictment of continental drift. Is that a conspiracy? Fact is, Antarctic ice is growing, although in recent decades the Peninsula warmed significantly, while the rest of the continent had a net cooling. Thanks for admitting your sample size is very small and the Arctic & Antarctic are a small portion of the earth. You miss my point about Darwin, AUS. I wasn't saying it was global climate, I was taking issue with temperature homogenization.

@UTubekookdetector Local weather in Australia is not global climate. I dont use GISS data I use the NOAA data as it is the official agency for climate modeling - NASA is not.

Actually the % is 0.018% of the Earth's existance that we have adequately accurate global temperatures but that represents about 80% of the relevant climate data that we need as atmospheric conditions under which we & all current fauna & flora evolved, the Sun was at this brightness, and the continents were in their present positions. That only applies to about the last million years or so.
