KK is really tall for a powerlifter, makes him all the more powerful.

@classicrockfm More importantly, what a best of the best powerlifter like Konstantin does has zero bearing on what an ordinary mortal does. The same amazing genetics that allow these people to lift 1000lbs are going to allow them to use "incorrect" form without injury.

Unless you win powerlifting meets for a living, stick to what is conventionally considered proper form.

@k0sta5 Its not the proper way to do it, but if you watch his lower back, he keeps that mostly straight, rather than letting it round, which protects his back. The upper back can round without any real risk of injury.

Also, he has very strong abs too, which do allow him to lift with more of a rounded back

And finally, its a maximum effort, so some rounding is to be expected.
