@supportisrael35
Matthew 7:21-23(NIV Bible)
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

In other words you can say Lord come into my heart but it means nothing unless you change.

You are right and you are wrong, and I am sure that Paul Washer would agree with me on this, because we serve the same God. It is through faith that we are saved, and when we are saved Christ begins a work in us just like Paul says in Philippians. It is through Christ in us that we begin to change, if it were our own effort to change we never would. Because Christ is in us, we desired to change. That is what is being said. So asking the Lord in your heart is the first part, but ask earnestly.

You see if you ever were to watch the video of why Paul gave this message he said because no one there was worshiping. People paid no attention to testimonies or the holy spirirt. It was just one big chaos party. He is saying just because you do what modern day evangelism tells you to do does not mean you are saved, you are only saved when the holy spirit brings you under convitiction. God tells you if you are saved. Don't listen to man, you will know when the spirit comes.

Washer is a stud and 100% correct! He understands what it means to follow Jesus! We forget that Christ calls for complete righteousness, nothing luke warm! John talks about it in Revelation. I am far from understanding full committment, but Washer is right- we need to get it and quick... otherwise, hell awaits...

Let me ask you one thing, would God let those who sinned and refuse to change their ways enter Heaven?

The false doctrine of "Once Saved, Always Saved" seems to have blossomed with Fundamentalist Christians although it's origins date back to 16th century Calvinism. The perfect example of how this doctrine is false is Judas Iscariot. He believed in Jesus Christ, walked with Him, was one of the Twelve and was given the same powers from Him as the others.

@AUGHALOUGH Well unless you are a professing Armenian, then you hold to the scripture that continues to solidify that once the sheep are given to Christ, they are his. As well as those are chosen, the sheep hear the shepherds' voice. We are kept pure because of the payment of Christs blood, although sinners; but are seen as redeemed children and our mediator will will present us as saints cleansed by the blood of Jesus.
