I think it's just that different people have different styles of learning. Some people are more visual or aural learners, whereas other people learn better by reading or writing.

Plus I have the option to devote my attention entirely to it, or leave it playing in the background and do other stuff while listening. You can't multi-task while reading, since it takes your undivided attention. Hell, I can't even read while there is excessive noise in the background.

Yeah, I realize people are different. When I do watch vids, they're usually playing in the background, but when I was talking to my g/f she was of the opinion that people like videos better because they CAN see you, and judge what your emotions are, and whether you're honest.

I'm pretty good at tuning shit out. I can read anywhere. Just me though.

Well, I watched to the end, just because it would have been rude to do otherwise. :-)

Blogging vs. Vlogging. this is how I break it down, I read blogs during my commute to and from work, I listen/watch vlogs when I am sitting around the house, or cleaning or eating. I think watching vlogs allow us to "see" the expressions and "feel" what the vlogger is saying...Blogs, although informative, lack that "living presence."

Exactly. Oh and btw I'm not of necessity against voting but I surely AM against people telling me that if I don't vote then I have no right to complain when by their own logic (as I show in the blog entry) the exact opposite is true. In other words, if you vote then it is you who has no right to complain.

Hmm. Some vloggers put up a full transcript down the side of the page under "more info". You might like to try this alternative.
