This is for those new to House Music production. I am using Protools HD to mix although I created the song in Logic Pro 8. Creating a "drop" is a science in itself, knowing what sounds to mute or add, and composing pure "hands in the air" mayhem is something I pride myself in knowing and properly execute in each of my tracks. This track will be part of a 3 song E.P. for Boo Records.

  • Nice man, I really liked you took the time even though you are a producer already. To many people that gets going into fame forget the little people, the people they once where themselves.

God bless you to and your music, both House music and techno is one thing laying close to heart so I like see people who work on on it. But I listen to most music, I mean good music is good music.

I might send you something I do in the future, I'm just getting started so I need time.

  • Are you 100% self taught....or did you attend any music production schools?...or audio engineering courses?

thanks for your time posting this video

  • @DJLinus94 it's just automating filtered white noise.

  • @DJLinus94 I don't know if you've already been replied too on this subject, but if I am understanding you right, what you are refering to is a "White Noise Sweep." There are a plethora of tutorials on youtube you can use.

In this video, he added a metallic reverb to the sweep and lowered the dry volume.

  • jorges? is this you?

  • Very nice "wind" sound. i could really use sound like that to build up the drop, but i cant find/create any :D could anyone please help out? btw, im useing cubase.

  • que bosta...

  • Thanks man,....for truly keeping house music alive.

  • Where do you find those nice big sweeping "sonics" as you call them? Sometimes producers put ducking on them etc... or how do you create them yourself... reversing some instrument with lots of reverb/echo?

  • Yup its nice of you taking the time to explain how you produce. I just started in production a few months ago and it would be cool if you could give me some advice or so to help me improve.. Take care

  • I think you should do like a big boom at the end of the drop ;)
