I don't own any of this audio!! All forms of audio on this video are from the extremely talented Josh Groban's album "Awake". I feel use of this audio is completely fair since it was originally created and is still used for educational purposes. It has been played for various Harry Potter college courses (yes, those do exists) and is just another fan video showing appreciation for the novels.

Now on to the story of Snape and Lily:
This is my video representation of Severus Snape's love for Lily Evans. Most of it is canon and comes from The Deathly Hallows, but there is a section in here from a short fan fiction I wrote a little after the Sixth book came out.

It may be a little hard to follow, but here's a basic summary of the part I added myself:

After Lily has Harry, she is told of the prophecy and immediately goes to seek help from her former best friend. When Severus Snape finds Dumbledore and begs him to protect Lily Evans, she has secretly followed him and eventually reveals herself, asking both of them for her help. She asks Severus to make the Unbreakable Vow with her, pledging to do what he can to protect her son, knowing she may die. He agrees, and the spell creates a mark on both Severus and Lily, until the Vow is completed; an "L" for Lily on Severus' wrist and an "S" for Severus on Lily's. When she is killed, this mark transfers to her son, whom Severus must still protect...until death.

Yeah yeah, I know it goes against a lot of stuff in the book. But deal with it.

Movies used are:
The first 5 Harry Potter films
Queen of the Damned
The Never ending Story

All the rest of the clips are my own.

p.s. Sorry about the lack of quality/blood on Severus' hand when he dies. There honestly is some ketchup on there, but the lighting is so dark that you can hardly see it.

And I'm so sorry for forgetting to put this in the credits, but THANK YOU to Tara Whalen for letting us smash things in her garage and leave it smelling like pickle juice!!
