Words cannot describe singing so brilliant, intense, reverent, ecstatic, and inspired. As a white Episcopalian, I didn't grow up with black gospel music, but discovering it in my 20s was one of the greatest things that ever happened to me.
Black gospel music is one of the crown jewels of American culture. One can only thank the Lord for giving us sinners such a priceless gift, and such a glimpse of a better world, as the singing of Daryl Coley.

@ArkLa2010 I totally agree, anyone who listens to "THE DARRYL" and does NOT feel something..may as well LIE DOWN, at the Funeral Home , because they are SURELY DEAD!

The man is truly A powerful vessel of God! However how
would u label a gift from God as a beast? In the world they use the term "beast" in a very negative manner,to describe something very dark and violent.I'm certain u meant well with ur statement however we must be wise be for the world. Love peace and blessings.....

The Spirit doesn't understand slang....do you know what a "beast" is, in the Spirit? the beast=the Antichrist. Rev. 13:18.
