Shadows of the Ancients: Episode 1- Two Arrivals

Etral is a lonely planet. She's far from the politics and troubles of Earth- which is part of the reason it's used by the SPARTAN III Project. Chief Mendez, the officer who trained the first Spartans, has gone on to train another group of warriors to battle the Covenant. Most of these warriors were trained for critical suicidal attacks on the Covenant, attacking them in great numbers but with less advanced technology and rushed training. However, a group of these Spartans were trained specifically as the Spartan II's had been, trained to do the impossible, and to do it alone. Young and inexperienced, they were withheld from the Public Eye until they were ready; fighting the covenant in small battles and missions. Not even the senior Spartans know of their existence.
Now, a squad of these small Spartan group has been recalled from their training at Etral to Earth: the order is of the utmost priority....they suspect the worst. Hours before departure, Petty Officer
Spartan 243, Daniel, is sent for repairs on his armor planet side.
It was then that the reality of the war came to Etral... It was then that a young Spartan had to rise to the call...
It was time for the Shadows the Ancients left behind to be revealed- to lay bare the truth. Let the journey begin...
