Hi,
I have the same loco with sound which is a outstanding engine DCC, and outstanding sound effects. I do agree about the cost...its not cheep, but its what you pay for. The steamer is the best I ever owned and looking foward for marklin/Minitrix to produce more loco's with sound/DCC. Euro N scale trains
( Minitrix n scale) is much more avance model's then anything out there including kato N scale,con-cor and Micro-trains. Minitrix/marklin n scale loco is the Daddy of all n scale trains.

Wow ! I did'nt know they had implemented sound in the N-gauge models as well; I own a Minitrix-layout that's mixed with some stuff from 'Fleischmann', 'Arnold', 'Roco' and 'Lima', but my model-railroad has'nt been in use since I moved out of my parent's home some some 15 years ago...:-(
None of my locos is equipped with sound or steam, back in the days this was available only to gauges HO and up...

I have the standard minitrix BR44 (bought secondhand) but that is just amazing. A pity they are so expensive, but you pay for what you get ;)
