I absolutely *adore* this song! Apparently it was written during or after a moment of crisis in Rufus´ life, which just goes to show how potentially creative breakdowns and crises can be. ;-D I used to listen to this almost every night a few years ago.

What I really think is funny, is that everyone comments about his gayness affecting his music: good or bad; when he's written maybe I don't know how many, maybe 10? Songs even involving other men or homosexuality.
But wouldn't someone agree that what he mainly wrights - sings about, is his family or personal things? I dunno, I'm just saying what I think :)
