So, let me get this straight...the BC Obama released showed his father as a foreign national, but 'everyone' claims that he is an American citizen because of his mother's nationality. Okay, now I understand! That means he's White!

1. Just. Waite also noted "Some authorities go further and include as citizens children born within the jurisdiction without reference to the citizenship of their parents."

2. Waite also noted that the case did not answer whether NBC required citizen parents since the plaintiff had citizen parents.

The only precedent setting case that made that distinction was US v Wong Kim Ark. No citzen parent required, You fail

@witchtelus The Constitution is paramount. As understood by its framers, Chief Justice Morrison Waite in Minor v. Happerstt explained: ". At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country OF PARENTS WHO WERE ITS CITIZENS became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens." Obama was never eligible because of his British father.

No the Constitution and requirements are paramount, which is why Obama could be legally elected POTUS; he satisfies those requirements.

The problem with birthers is that they only pretend to honor the Constitution, while actually seeking to undermine democracy by overthrowing the legally elected POTUS.... and makebelieving they are the "real" patriots.
