What's interesting to me is as far as I can tell the "internet group anonymous" isn't anonymous. "They" are a site/a group of sites partake in internet discussions anonymously. This give rise to all kinds of interesting things.

Not to throw too much thought into it.. The point of the "group" anonymous is the exact thing that you pointed out, it isn't a group.. it's me, it's you, it's everyone... it's the corrupt politician, it's the money running wall street man, it's the cook at your local Taco Bell.. so imagine the anonymous vs scientology... as a small part of the world at whole... Anonymous are people that would rather be regarded as an idea vs. one person getting attention for personal gain. I hope you get this.

We at anon would like to clarify. We are not so much an organization as an idea. Basically, if you post some kind of public-access item onto the internet without stating your real name, you are a member. Therefore, almost all youtubers, except for you and all people who post videos about their real lives are anon members. but these are the automatic members, the ones who do not act in some way. the other type goes to rallies and such. however, we are a completely incoherent internet machine
