  • depends what kind of bits you are using, high speed steel should be sharpened once a day at least and carbides i have gone as long as a week with out, usually get wood dull before dirt dull in clean wood

  • That's a nice mil setup. How long do you find you go between sharpenings on the teeth for clean wood, and how long does a sharpening take? I'm running a small bandmill, its a lot lower production, but the maintenance is low as well. Its a good one-man setup, but I need to upgrade soon to something a little more production oriented with power log handling abilities.

  • never seen the feed controls set up to work that way before. pretty neat little setup.

  • dont cut the dogs off it makes a big bang .
