But Krishnaraja Wodeyar could not have been wrong when he called him "Tiger". He easily intimidated the greatest carnatic artists during his time.

@RamLakshmanan THe guru must have been quite old when this recording was done. Do not disrespect the legends of yesteryears.

Maybe he was a very good teacher, but his singing is quite pathetic. He seems to have no respect for the sahityam nor for the swarasthanam. So many apaswarams and such mauling of words/lyrics that it is quite unbearable!
