The dog from Dambusters was a black labrador named Nigger. Peter Jackson and Steven Fry are apparently remaking the movie and changing it's name to Digger which is causing some controversy because the Dog was actually a real dog owned by Wing Commander Guy Gibson and used in operations during WW2. Poor Nigger isn't getting his recognition thanks to the PC police and their quest to eliminate historical accuracy to keep the darkies happy.
