Artist: Havok
Album: Time is Up

Havok's sophomore album, Time is Up! Havok has to be my favorite Thrash Metal band, including the new and old school. Burn blew me away and now Time is Up is melting my fucking brain! "Eargasm" Doesn't even begin to describe this album. There are some albums that I'm proud to say I own, and this just rose to the top of my list.

First and foremost, BUY THEIR FUCKING ALBUM! You can buy it, along with "Burn" right here:

  • @AGNTthrasher YEAAAAAAAHHHHH, that was AWESOME!!!!!

  • I still think Seance's cover of Postmortem is the best Slayer cover but this is still super sick!

  • @poopychocolate I was just trying to be funny and bust your balls, no David Sanchez does a great vocal cover, he retains his own style but yet integrates Tom Araya well, I would say Sanchez and the bassist/vocalist of Violator (Forget his name sorry) and definitly modern day Tom Arayas.

  • @stenback31289 I don't mean their tuning; rather, the actual rhythm of the song. I mean, when I actually listen to this I actually recognize the song their covering. :D

The vocalist doesn't do a bad job either with his highs. :P

  • @poopychocolate technically, they were a half step up, since slayer plays all their songs in Eb, but who cares... this was truely the slayer cover I've ever heard.

  • @CrocellMunga94 And a majority of the bands you mentioned are older bands, get your facts straight...

  • @CrocellMunga94 Gamma Bomb...you better not mistake it again.

  • Finally, a band who covers Slayer the right way. If you don't do it right, just kill yourself. You failed Slayer and failed life. xD

But yes, kick ass cover. :D
