I met Roy several years ago during a summer concert series in Richmond. He was very personable; great sense of humor as well. He loves his fans. Of course he did all the old stuff with a new twist. It almost goes without saying that he scorched those vibes

The gig was absolutely awesome - different line up from above, much more of a funk/fusion vibe, but with the well known tunes worked in. Met him afterwards, and he's a nice guy!
