This is a clip from The Dream Life of Rats where neuroroboticsists research brain control of machines. One scientist uses discoveries to remote control a live rat by sending stimuli into its brain via electrodes. Another scientist enables a paraplegic to control a computer mouse pointer via a direct-interface to his brain known as the Braingate.
Partly funded by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in the United States, these technologies are expected to give future soldiers enhanced capabilities.

I don't believe in such a universe that demands creatures of great wisdom, ability, and talent to only be evil.

I'm thinking those heads in Futurama aren't so far off in the future either :D! I think that biological life still has huge advantages over mechanics because it can grow and heal and etc. but I wonder how far off it will be until mechanics and biology are almost the same thing...

see things like this are good but some humans arent and this could be used against peoples will which is a bad thing but on the other hand for say war victims who have lost limbs using robot parts to help them in there daily lives are good
