Wizdog potty training - Shih Tzu puppy

Cooper, 7-week old Shih Tzu, pooping on Wizdog indoor dog potty. He was potty trained using Wizdog in less than 5 days. Woohoo! :D

I have a shih tzu and he peeing and pooing on the rug and floor but not the training pads!!! what should I do???

@1Alyssa2Morales Sorry to hear about your Shih Tzu's pee/poop issues. Begin potty training on a training pad. When your dog begins to pee or poop, place him on the training pad and say your command word (like pee pee or potty). When he is done, provide positive reinforcement. (Praise and treats) Continue this process as long as needed until your Shi Tzu learns to associate the training pad as the only place to pee. Finally, use "Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor remover" to clean up old stains.

@wilspgt Hello! :D For Cooper, on the first night with you guys, where did he sleep ? :) Did you guys leave him in his area or do you have like.. A crate that you put beside your bed and let him sleep in it? :D

My Shih Tzu doesn't pee or potty on the training pads or the backyard where we wish him to do it. Instead he just does it on the carpet/floor. Even if I stop him half way and move him on to the training pads, he doesn't finish off. Any tips?
