say, you got an individual pic of that female marine at 0:54? She looks familiar, I graduated high school in 2001, just a few months before the 9-1101 terror attacks. Several of my old classmates enlisted in the military. The one I speak of joined the USMC and served in Iraq. I'd like a copy of that pic if possible, to show it to her and ask her if that's her if that's okay with you? I could be mistaken, but it can't hurt to be positive.

Today Marks 235th anniversary of the United States Marine Corps. Thank you to all who have served in the Marine Corps. Without Marines, the United States could not have prevailed through the countless wars for our freedom. SEMPER FI !!

@nikolauskopernikus Montezuma's revenge means the same to us.

In the Marine's Hymn it refers to the Battle of Chapultepec, and the taking of Chapultepec Castle that was also known as "The Halls of Montezuma" during the Mexican-American war 1847.  According to USMC lore the red stripe on NCO and Officers uniform trousers has come to be referred as a Blood Stripe in honor of the NCOs and Officers killed during that battle.

@BOBLA90069 No... He cannot marry another man in the marine corps because they do not accept gays in the marine corps. It's a no ask no tell thing, but if they catch you doing something homosexual, they kick you out. Or so says my sgt.

And besides that, what does the mormon tabernacle choir singing a beautiful rendition of this song have anything to do with gay marines? I'm just confused by your thought process is all.

@captdlt . I don't like brag, six generations back my great grandfather, a Lt Colonel was with my 2nd cousin George Washington crossing the Deleware. I would be more than surprired if every generation of your family was Marines. Mine has been: I'm Army, My father Navy, his father US Cavalry,his father Texas Cavalary-Joe Shelby's Iron Brigade and Parson Brigade and on on on it goes. The Army and the Navy have always sholdered the burden. I was trained by Marines, stop the brag.
