  • yes it was Carole. This is about the time that she was a Mack Sennett girl. And to think, Cecil B. DeMille didn't think Carole had talent. He went on to eat those words later in a radio program that stared Carole Lombard many years later. She's my Angel.

  • I believe it was Carole Lombard that lost part of her bathing suit!

  • They've had colour since the 1800s. It just wasn't very common until the late 1920s, and even then everything was still mostly black & white. But early musicals were known for having colour musical numbers.

  • Har har har! Love the bit at the 2:00 mark where the lobster tears away a crucial section of her swimsuit. Pre-Hays code stuff is the best!
