yes it was Carole. This is about the time that she was a Mack Sennett girl. And to think, Cecil B. DeMille didn't think Carole had talent. He went on to eat those words later in a radio program that stared Carole Lombard many years later. She's my Angel.

They've had colour since the 1800s. It just wasn't very common until the late 1920s, and even then everything was still mostly black & white. But early musicals were known for having colour musical numbers.
