Dearest Ingrid! She was a real lady and she grew old gracefully, though sadly not very old, for she died at 67 after a brave battle with cancer. I've just looked at some Julie Andrews videos - what a contrast!! She's had such a face lift that her face looks like plastic. No, Ingrid was the true lady. i read once that when Ingrid appeared onscreen without makeup cosmetic sales in the USA declined..when she played a nun convent enrollments increased.
