@the81stviewer If gays want a civil union, that is no problem. When they wish to have a church service, it is not merely a political issue. As far as rights republicans are for gays having the same civil rights as do other cictizens, but they are against gays-or any other Americans-being afforded special rights.

@sarcip7x If you support gay rights you aren't a republican. All I get to hear about on the news with republicans is them bitch about the economy, and then blame the gays. All those conservative preachers, those old senators, and those people running for president sure weren't for gay rights. It's one of the big tenents of republicanism to be anti gay. You're not republican.

I don't understand. Republicans hate you. They don't want you to marry, they think you're perverts, and they make speeches talking about this. Republicans don't like gays, they don't want them to have rights, and they are doing what they can to keep you from having those rights as much as possible. Being Gay and Republican is like being black and a white supremicist. The contradiction in terms is astronomical. You're not welcome to the republicans, they want you to leave. I am a gay independent.
