Brings back memories. Drove one of these back in mid 60s when I had an XKE. Had an opportunity to buy -- kick myself for not doing so. Going back further, my first experience with the XK120 was in 1957 in Capetown, South Africa when the wife of the US consular general gave me a ride. Wanted one over since.

Very nice. Mine is a little later than yours. My car was made in late July 1954. Let me guess: your chassis number is S675???. I hope you keep it original. No disc brakes, modern 5-speed gearbox, etc.

Close. The car was built Sept '53. S674265. Yes, I intend to maintain the orig specs..I too dislike mods of that nature. Cheers...
