I think that a nation can have space for all sorts of members: Muslims (good ones, only so so, and even bad ones), non-Muslims, people of other faiths as is the case in the areas where Pakhtuns happen to be. We had Hindus, Sikhs and even a few Jews living as citizens and in peace with the rest of us Muslims where I was brought up. In fact, a Sikh was once our family's business partner.
Those who kill for such non-sense probably don't know our nation.
(3) I sometimes question the true faith of those who carry out such inhumane acts. Are they really Muslims?
Thank you for praying that I find AqalMina's videos. I am also looking for Shakila's new videos and if any of her daughters has taken her path. The three of them are my favorites. Shabana is killed, the other two, I hope are saved and enjoy their natural lives.
At the end, let me thank you once again for your nice comments and prayers and the uploader for such touchy songs.
(2) I think we should try to build and not be carried away by those who play for others' music.
When I read about Shabana's killing, I became so upset that I cried, even though where I was brought up (a typical Pakhtun environment), such people would be considered outcast - i.e. to be dealt with only when they are needed for entertainment. A human life is sacred and definitely she did not deserve to be killed. More so, they deceived her by pretending to be clients who needed to be entertained.
Thanks again dear Bajaury! Your name indicates that you should be a Pakhtun yourself; therefore, I was surprised when you mentioned that you had little knowledge of Pakhtun singers.
You mentioned that the picture resembled Shakila Naz. I must say that Shakila Naz herself is an icon of Pakhtu music.
Shabana was another gifted singer. Personally, I don't call anyone a kafir. I guess we've got enough of such people who call one another kafirs. I think that a nation can have space (2 b cont)
Looking at her picture she resembles a lot like Shakeela Naz. I have very little knowledge of pakhtun singers, including her. My favorite was Shabana and she was killed by the kafir Taliban, however, I like the music and style of Aqal Meena. I do like the childishness in Nazia Iqbal or the screaming of some others. Nazia could be4come good singer if she would cut out the childishness. Good luck in finding Aqal Meena.
Thanks a lot for taking time to comment on my comment.
Probably you have seen her videos, especially recent ones nd build your opinion on those videos. However, I haven't seen anything other than the picture everyone sees. Apparently, the whole thing is a conversion of an audio cassette material.
Could you please upload her videos? Or if you have any information about the other issues I've raised there?
I like that you like her. However, her build is that of a middle aged woman, nothing special. But beauty is in the eyes of a beholder. One thing for sure- her voice, music and rhythm is different then the other singers.
I wish I was that lucky, Aqal Mini! What a voice and what a beauty if it is your real photo! Does anyone have her actual videos? Would they be kind enough 2 upload them 4 our enjoyment as well?
Where is she from? Is she alive and where does she live? Has any of her daughters followed her footsteps? If yes, what is/are her or their name/s?
Thanks for uploading PashtoSandara wror/khor.
In short, one is never bored with this type of voice nor with the face or build. Allah creates unmatchables.
Sorry, apparently I left something out.
