Of, do your research first. And save yourself from embarassment.

@Brendon00000 I have no clue what you speak of, I personally own a 91 crx with a type r b18c turbo set up using a gt42r turbo, makes 504hp at 22lbs of boost and 422hp at 18lbs of boost, and I loose traction on the rev/go on first gear only. The only way to loose traction is if I had a club foot and slammed the gas pedal all the way instigating a burnout. Z06 corvettes, ls1 camaros and gsxr600 cant keep up with me. Instead of blabbing words of hate out when you have no clue of what you speak

a k swap in a crx is awesome a k swap supercharged is just rediculous, using more engine bay space for all the equipment when anything over 300whp in a crx has no traction, it is better for the engine and transmission just to have a k20a and some aggressive camshafts making 250whp, thats my plans for my crx

that k20a will hold 450whp like a champ bone stock. people do it all the time. im wanting to do the bigger rotrex on my k20a ek this winter.

HEY WEREN'T U on HONDA TUNNING mag???? I love what u guys did with the REX

For once a real k20 crx, definately sounds like one
Perhaps the engine will, but not the tranny, as we found out. Second gear is toast. No need for more power, too much for autocross and street as is. Time attack or drags would be another story.

That was us before the boost update.

Cool
What size pulley on the rotrex?

@RoccoR16V 105mm with 130mm crank pulley gives ~100,000RPM on the Rotrex C30-94 @ 8600 Engine RPM (redline for K20A). This is the max RPM for this Rotrex.

The internals are totally stock. The K20A (ITR) motor need not be touched, is rugged and reliable at the boost levels we run (~10PSI, 340WPH). We can't run as the drags as we can't pass tech due to battery location. Our main focus is autocross. But, to give you an idea of the power the Lbs/HP is greater then a Z1 corvette. You really can't use all the power on the street. For drag, I would go for the larger rotrex which would require building the engine but would get you above 500HP.
