I'm trying to work with a hyper schnauzer/dachshund mix who is really sweet, but basic obedience is NOT my biggest concern. Despite the fact that she always has food and gets plenty of treats, toys, and Dentley bones, she loves to eat out of the litter box! It is GROSS, and I have no idea how to make her stop. My cat has to have access, but I really can't take picking any more cat crap out of her beard or finding random cat poop around the dog bed. HELP!!

Usually how long would it take to train a dog to stay? my dog is a little over 1 yrs old and he's driving me and my mom both nuts. I tried to train him stay today, he would listen when it was just me and him at home, but when my mom was there, he kept getting distracted D: And because of my temper, I got really mad at him...I wasn't able to catch him when he got distracted either, and when I did, he would try to bite me. He's a Pomeranian.

Before I learned about positive training, zaks correction of a broken stay seemed perfectly normal and appropriate. Now, however, it looks agressive and inappropriate. I love zak but I think he couldve done better on this vid. Sorry to let ya down zak :(
