Great video! My german shepherd and I are in puppy class and their stay technique involved walking away... neither of us got it. She's already doing lots better thanks to you!

The first trick your dog needs to know is stay, but yet he says your dog must know the sit command. Doesn't make much sense to me.

amazing! I discovered SuperFetch and some of your other videos online on Animal Planet yesterday and watched like every single one that's available in Germany since then. everything you explain is so reasonable and easy-going, I've never heard anything so simple and helpful about training and communicating with dogs. you rock, keep it up and thanks for sharing your knowledge!

try baby steps... literally and figuratively. you should be marking every thing with the clicker. so even going from kneeling to standing and the dog remaining in position should be marked. and then you should kneel again and continue this behavior until you can take 20 or 30 steps without reward
