Dragon Quest V 100: Searching for the Pot

I try to enter this dungeon, but I find that I need the Final Key. I explore using the Magic Carpet. There are some problems with it. For example, it can't go any higher than the trees. You can only take off and land on the grassy areas. It does have a good side though, no enemy encounters.

I go to Salabona and undertake the mission from Master Ludman; go north to look at this pot, and tell him what you see.

Why do you need To Find the Final Key

In that cave is an item I need to get. I can't get it though, since it is blocked by a jail cell door, and I don't have the proper key to open it.
