@koogmoog Status Quo a band not known outside England? Haha, you should check your facts.

The Boss Rocks!! :)

@kkuster1 Fortunately, anybody can be replaced (except that genius guy).
We were all saddened by Danny's, then Clarence's deaths.
Steve left the band before the Born in the USA tour (1984) and didn't return until 99. Max's son played drums for a dozen shows.
Roy and Gary? Tougher, because they are so very familiar with Bruce's songs, but that's what homework and reheasals are about. Ask Nils, who joined in 84.
As long as you've got Bruce, you've still got, "The Greatest Show on Earth."

bruce and john r awsome like a boss

You're right. But in the seventies Fogerty brought out Bruce on stage and now Bruce invites Fogerty on his stage. times are changing...

Fogerty best musician ever!! CCR for ever!
-
Fogerty and Springsteen are pals. Bruce said he idolized John and CCR when he (Bruce) was starting out in the late 60's. I'm sure Fogerty feels honored that Springsteen did one of his songs in his set list. Plus the songwriting royalties that Fogerty got every time Springsteen sang this was nice too!

I want you all to know that John C. Fogerty wrote this song and still does the best version of it.
Excellent

Love the song, but I was so glad when he got the E Streeters back together. I saw this group in concert twice. They simply, other the Roy, could not keep up with the Boss.
