It's not about pronunciation. There's no reason to pronounce something the way English people do if it is clearly -spelled- metarudaa, which is the Japanese equivalent of Metalder.
Listen, just cause Mizuki speaks english like somebody with down syndrome dosent change the name any more or less. I wouldnt put the estimate at exactly 50. Maybe less, but maybe even more. Regardless, I DO know there are a great deal of people that can pronounce the name right, and your one of them...
The guy that sings the song in the video says Metaruda. Everybody from the series says Metaruda. It's a known fact japanese people have a hard time speaking english. I guess all the 50% that gets the names wrong work in television/cinema, right?
Nice Video. At 03:16: Lightning Chop attack = Excalibur = Calamity End? Wow!

No, it really is. If somethin is spelled Water, Im gonna say water, or else I will sound like a retard or somebody with no education. Think about it.
Btw, Katakana, regardless of por pronounciacion, is to be used usually for foreign words. Your foreign, uyou dont need to act a fol.
