  • @MeBTroll Screaming is either for people that just got kicked in the balls or for guys with annoying whiny voices.

  • @wickerentity Ok, thank you! Finally someone isn't an asshole to me about liking A7X. I just don't understand why someone can't like both A7X and Opeth?

  • I don't see how it's such a big problem that Heritage lacks the metal aspect of Opeth. I mean it's still a genius progressive rock album and I think they've earned it to experiment with their music in such a way. No need to call it a bad album if you don't like it.

  • @koolmaaan My Arms, Your Hearse is a fucking classic! Killer album. Ghost Reveries is another unbelievable album. Relly great!

For me: My Arms, Your Hearse > Ghost Reveries > Blackwater Park > Damnation > Orchid = Deliverance > Watershed > Still Life > Morningrise > Heritage.

  • @crazya7xman Because generally, metal fans are closed minded idiots who thinks Hammerfall is metal. :)

  • opeth live in athens 4-4-12

  • @TheReturnOED In order from best to "worst" if you can even say that lol

    1) Blackwater Park

    2) Damnation/ Deliverance equal tie

    3) close call between Ghost Reveries and Watershed but GR

    4) Morning-rise- alot of great acoustic playing and Mikael vocals

    5) "Still life"- sounds a bit like Orchid and My arms your hearse but with their BWP sound forming

    6) Heritage totally off the reservation no death metal vocals and not really metal but still interesting... have to listen to it more

  • @TheReturnOED If you want brutal Death Metal, go pick up their album Deliverance, if you want the proggy side of the band, pick up Damnation (its a double album split into two) and if you want a perfect harmony of the two pick up Blackwater park, their best album. Ghost Reveries has some really great songs (but a bit too much synth for me even though it works sometimes) and Watershed has the heavy riffs of BP and Damnation but little to no growling... but a great album.

  • @InSaNeXxXCH40S It is hard, but compared to growling? Camaaaan!

  • @crazya7xman I Love this comment because it's coming from someone who probably has never tried before. It is extremely hard (if you do it properly).

  • Never realized Gene Hoglan is playing drums in this video but not on the record.
