name: John Skelton
school: Fordham University
postion: Quarterback #19 (4yr starter)
height: 6' 5 1/4'

Skelton is a good quarterback prospect with some intriguing physical ability. Has a good, live arm and gets adequate zip on routes. He can make most NFL throws and shows good touch on deep balls. He also throws a catchable ball on wheel routes. Skelton's consistency improves dramatically on underneath patterns. Overall, he is athletic with quick feet and adequate speed.
Go John! I played HS football against this guy. Good Person.

ugh..man I'm really hoping he or Anderson can come close to filling Kurt Warner shoes. Kurt can throw missiles with laser guided precision.

@YERRable totally agree with you ,man how could he be any worse.

@davlove1987 he played in Fordham University. If he played any position other than qb, I think he would be a 3rd round pick

So happy that we took this QB in the 5th round, what a steal. Looking forward to see how he'll play in the up coming pre-season. Strong arm, tall, and throw really well on the run. Can't wait, GO Cards.

i honestly dont know why this guy wasnt so coveted. For all the talk about quarterbacks that have no future in the NFL like Tebow and McCoy, this guy should have gone at least 3rd round.

Def like some of the throws this kid can make. Seems very accurate and gets the ball out quick, which are always important. One to watch 2-3 years down the road.
Watch some of Green Bay's touchdowns in that playoff game last season and tell me McFadden made smart plays; not worth nearly 5 million next season. You want to keep guys like Darnell Dockett and Steve Breaston, this was a move that had to be made...

This kid just looks like an NFL quarterback
