I can see the benefits of something like this if you have the right personality and you're organized and focused. However I can also see this becoming nothing more then hanging-out in someone's apartment.
I suppose either way - that's fine as long as that's what you expect before you participate.
Personally - I would get nothing done.

I wonder there have been conflicts in tight co-working environments (e.g. thefts). Interesting how we're returning to the tribal social setting.
