  • I have never heard of, nor seen power cranks. What is the point of them?

  • @TheProntoOne you can improve your cycling performances with a better use of ileopsoas.

  • i don't know. i use my powercranks on the road and on the rollers. so i think it's better to have powercranks on bike. you can't go on the road with stationary trainer.

  • does this work with regular pedals/shoes? On a fixed gear bike?

  • do you mean iliopsoas. Usually if you pedal with one leg while on rollers it will isolate your glutes as well as your iliopsoas on the side that is the "power" side. This might be the term "power crank" that the author is using.
