Gael probes the Viking, when the Viking blocks a low shot, the Gael reverses the spear, steps forward and knocks the Viking's spear to the side.

  • if someone actually lunged with a spear (i imagine a relatively quick thrust), would there have been enough time to swing another spear round and knock it out the way?

  • @hunkyzombie The point of a 'fools guard' is to entice someone to take a stab, so you are braced for it and expecting it. It's not something that usually works on experienced foes though, they will only feint.
