Well, I see all is quiet on the Y.T front these days. Canadians have made their choice and we are in for stable governance over the next 4 years. I'd like to thank all people who came to this site and expressed what they felt, right or wrong. It was a pleasure to communicate with others that do not share my opinions and the vast majority made complling arguements for their cases. I hope over time people will realise that this government will benefit all Canadians and that we can be proud!

@cockshe I remember what Mike Harris did and we paid even more for his so-called Common Sense Revolution. And when the going got tough, Harris choose to cut and run rather than deal with the consequences.

I'm probably the dumbest person in Canada, my friend! I have bought all of this hype from the ruling party that if a majority was not achieved than 'the sky would fall'! Well, no, I'm not dumb. I've read the NDP platform and I know that it would equate for Canada what Bob Rae's NDP government did so many years ago, that frankly, we are still paying for here in Ontario! Some 16 years later and this province still pays out the ass, and there is no Mike Harris in the cards to save us,only Stephen!

@3baxcb, ah, but I digress! The people of Ms.Oda's riding have passed judgement and when you are so much in the 'spotlight' as the former opposition tried to put her, would you not feel some vindication in being handily re-elected? If you have concerns, then you as a private citizen, may contact the police who will investigate. Other wise, I suggest that you recognise the result of Ms.Oda's riding results as more powerful than any opposition motion or Speaker's ruling! The people have spoken!

@cockshe You're a bit dumb to think if we ever had anything close to a socialist party in this country or one with seats in Parliament anyway. That just sounds like classic paranoia about any party that promote social change, programs or both. Don't get New Democrats mixed up with politics in Latin America or the former Eastern Bloc which you seem to be doing.

@cockshe Oda still misinformed Parliament and getting re-elected doesn't make it right. The Speaker of the House Of Commons ruled that as Contempt of Parliament. Anyone can get a group of people to follow him/her but it doesn't change the fact if altering documents about funding and lying about it should be considered a breach of trust.

@3baxcb, I am pleased,and honoured to announce that Ms.Oda has been re-elected in her riding! I suppose that given the standing of the nation,that most people just did not care about an insinuated breach of the Ministerial office? Can it be because we faired the best of most nations in the recent economic conditions? I've had a probation officer delve into my wife's past, some 14 years, without consent! Is that a criminal offence?! If you are some type of lawyer, let me know, we are both rich!

@3baxcb, it would seem that some 59% of the electorate bought your 'story'! Here we are, a Conservative Majority delivered by the people. Are we all stupid, or dumb? No, we are not. We chose to look beyond the 'claims' of the other leaders, and saw them implode! The 'natural' governing party reduced by half with a socialist opposition! This should be a really fun 4 years! Enjoy! I'm sure that once the next writ is dropped I can ask most Canadians if thier life is better than 4 years ago; YES!
