Garden flowers and chow chows, dogs pant in the yard on hot summer day in DC

This video is from 2006, when our dogs were younger. Dao, the chow chow, is now 15 years old
I took this video in 2006 in my back yard of my pet dog chow chows, Dao and Shukra. They are the best pets in the world, obedient, loving, quiet. I rescued both from the shelters. Dao is from the ASPCA (12 years ago) and Shukra is from the Humane Society (10 years ago.)
We are grateful to these organizations for helping to save pets for loving homes.
It's so hot, we two chow chow dogs are slower than molasses at midnight in the artic. Just sitting around, trying to not to pass out from the hot, humid 90+ degree summer weather. The best thing to do is just sit there and pant... Two Chow Chows plus hot weather = two lazy dogs

Google Video is shutting down, so I'm going to transfer 32 dog videos over to this channel. Our dog Dao is just about ready to cross over. He's enjoyed his life here on earth and we will miss him.
