I love it when I find a classical piano piece, which is not played by a five-year-old Asian child, but from someone who likes to play piano and it is not forced to play.

Great! I'm 39 and have been plying piano for just under a year- my instructor is crazy! He's having me do this one right now...needless to say, it's very slow and sounds nothing like this!

I took a bit of piano lessons (2-3 months) when I was 7. I thought I liked the idea, but it was boring as hell doing the same stupid exercises all day long. At 28 I realized that some Mozart pieces that I loved were relatively simple so I took a bunch of free music sheets and dusted off my 17 year old Kawai keyboard. It wasn't smooth for the first few months, but it's been a ton of fun. I now average 4-5 h of practice per day and having a blast. Try doing that to a 7 year old kid.
