@ArmandoseCaballero The maille is butted, not rivetted, so the gauge is not that important. For butted maille to be effective, it has to be wound several turns (like the ring of a keyring) to be effective, or it will open. The maille in this video is NOT historical, and NOT effective. SBG should really have pointed that out, as there is a world of difference between the maille in this video and rivetted maille. This piece of maille is hardly protective at all.
