My aunt Martha Porter Kilgour performs a piano piece at a recital in Madison, WI 11/28/2006. I was honored to have been able to witness this performance firsthand and feel even more grateful to be in a position to share it with the world via YouTube. Aunt Martha invited me (and my camcorder) to the recital which included other artists, most of them also "seniors." This video means even more to me now than the live performance did as my beloved "Auntie Em" passed away unexpectedly April 13, 2010. Anyone who knew her even slightly would be keenly aware that music was as essential to her as breathing. If you were never so blessed as to meet Martha, listen to her words as she introduces the piece she is about to play and you will doubtlessly understand. Her solo is "Evening in Granada" by Debussy.
